Andrew Hyde and Samantha Murphy of SMtv have had a nice partnership in this first year of weekend events. Music has been a regular part of the process, with Samantha making appearances in Atlanta and Boston. The quality of the artists affiliated with SMtv is reportedly outstanding. I hope the band is a local one.

Bloomington Startup Weekend is a celebration of community more than anything else. One of the items on the organizing to-do list I had to let go was rounding up 2-3 Bloomington singers to do a set each day. Too much for this first event, so I’m thrilled there will be music this weekend.
