I recruited Jason de Runa, one of the future founders at BSW, to be the Hospitality Director for our event. Jason is going to make contact with local hotels to see if we can get some sponsorship to help house participants coming in from out of town. We will try to get this information to our registration list early next week.
On the childcare front … we have some possible caretakers, but we are looking for space to put the kids of parents wishing to participate. The City Hall space will be entirely used by our founders, and it would be a substantial cost in security staff to be able to spread up to a second floor. We are looking for nearby buildings where kids could play while parents code/write/market/etc. Wonderlab, which is just a couple streets south of City Hall, may be used heavily by the founder offspring.
